Private Land Hunts

We have recently leased the upper Flagg Creek Ranch. We are very excited to have access to 8500 acres on this prime elk hunting ranch. Flagg Creek Ranch is located 15 miles south of Meeker in GMU 23. The ranch has no livestock and has been managed for wildlife. Elk, mule deer, black bear, mountain lion and wild turkey live on the ranch year round.

Rolling hills of sagebrush, serviceberry, oakbrush thickets and numerous aspen groves that are prime bedding areas. Elevations vary from 7,100 ft. to 9,000 ft. with lush meadows and abundant water surrounded by BLM land and the White River National Forest and private land on the north side. The ranch is located on a natural migration route as well as a large resident elk herd.

Elk hunts for archery and rifle hunts are fully-guided. Mule deer bucks in the 160 to 180 point range also. Hunting will be from established blinds and spot and stalk.
