Hunter's Checklist

This is a list of items you will need to bring with you for your hunt

• License, tag, and permit

• Weapon (NO automatic rifles please)

• Sufficient ammunition and/or arrows

• 2 small flashlights

• 1 disposable lighter

• 1 pair of sunglasses

• 1 day-pack

• 1 knife

• 1 pair of gaiters for winter hunts

• 1 warm sleeping bag

• 1 (solid orange) hat and vest minimum

• 2 pair of gloves (at least one pair for shooting)

• 1 pair of shoe packs (warm boots)

• 1 medium weight jacket

• 1 set of rain gear, preferably quiet material

• 1 pair of camp shoes

• 1 pair of lace-up walking/hiking shoes with lug soles

• 1 pair of binoculars

• Changes of clothes based on the duration of your hunt

• 1 towel

• 1 toilet kit

• Buck Fever Pills

• Supply your own liquor or beer

• 1 watch

Please note: All hunters born after 1949 MUST have a Hunters Safety Card to purchase a license.
